Description

The Muybridge series, in honor of the great 19th century photographer who explored the dynamics of locomotion through freeze frame photography, is a digital approach to capturing 3D temporal changes via the medium of wearable art.

Utilizing animation techniques, the shapes derived from the fractional motion of a bird in full flight, fleeting moments of a bird’s reality which are imperceptible to the naked eye, are digitally integrated into a series of three T-shirt designs. Each design represents an organic simulation of an actual flight trajectory.
